Official Visit by Ouj Company to the Palestinian Islamic Bank to Explore Cooperation Opportunities in the Islamic Banking Sector

Ouj Financial Services, Consulting, and Arbitration Company paid an official visit to the Palestinian Islamic Bank, where the Bank's General Manager, Dr. Imad Al-Saadi, welcomed the General Manager of Ouj Company, Dr. Fadi Abu Diak. The visit was part of a series of official meetings organized by the company in preparation for the official launch of its operations in Palestine.

This visit follows Ouj Company's signing of several significant international agreements in the Islamic banking sector, reinforcing its role as a company operating under the slogan "Halal and Peace of Mind." The company aims to strengthen the capabilities of institutions and individuals in the fields of Islamic economics and finance, covering Islamic banks, Takaful insurance companies, and Islamic finance institutions. It also seeks to support innovation in financial technology (FinTech) and promote financial literacy through awareness initiatives and specialized professional training.

During the meeting, Dr. Fadi Abu Diak emphasized the importance of constructive cooperation between the private sector and Islamic banking institutions to enhance the confidence of Palestinian citizens in Islamic banking. He stressed the need to expand training, capacity-building, and financial literacy programs for all segments of society, particularly researchers and university students, in alignment with the objectives of the Palestine Monetary Authority to promote financial inclusion and banking awareness.

He also praised the Palestinian Islamic Bank for its leading role and distinguished position in the local banking market, highlighting its excellence in providing Shariah-compliant banking services while keeping pace with the latest technological developments. Furthermore, he commended the Bank's Shariah Supervisory Board for its significant efforts in ensuring compliance with the highest standards of Shariah governance and professional integrity.

For his part, Dr. Imad Al-Saadi welcomed the visit and praised Ouj Company's initiative and efforts to promote Islamic financial and banking literacy in Palestine. He emphasized the importance of partnership with the private sector in developing Islamic financial products and services and advancing financial inclusion. He also stressed the need for coordinated national efforts to further develop the Islamic banking sector, highlighting the achievements of the Palestinian Islamic Bank as one of the leading financial institutions in this field.
