Date: July 13, 2026

AWJ Financial Services, Consulting & Arbitration Company is continuing its preparations for the official launch of its operations, alongside the introduction of Palestine's first national digital platform dedicated to the Halal Economy and Business. This landmark initiative aims to establish an integrated professional ecosystem that combines expertise, innovation, and digital transformation while adhering to the highest professional standards, Sharia principles, and internationally recognized best practices.

Since its establishment on 8 July 2025, AWJ has deliberately devoted its first year to building a solid institutional foundation. During this period, the company focused on developing a comprehensive professional framework, establishing an extensive network of local and international professional and academic partnerships, and building a robust digital infrastructure to ensure a sustainable and impactful launch.

Throughout this journey, AWJ has concluded several strategic international cooperation agreements with leading institutions in Islamic finance and the Halal economy, including the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI), and the International Islamic Centre for Reconciliation and Arbitration (IICRA), in addition to other distinguished professional and academic organizations. These partnerships reinforce AWJ's commitment to international standards and strengthen its position within the global Halal economy ecosystem.

AWJ offers an integrated portfolio of professional services designed to meet the needs of Islamic financial institutions, Takaful companies, universities, and the wider business sector. Its services include professional training and capacity building, professional diplomas and certifications, Sharia and financial consultancy, Sharia supervision and audit, financial arbitration and dispute resolution, governance, risk management and compliance, business development, digital transformation and artificial intelligence solutions, Islamic financial product development, economic and financial research, as well as specialized conferences, forums, and professional events.

One of AWJ's flagship initiatives is the AWJ Digital Platform, which has been designed to be far more than a conventional online learning platform. It provides a fully integrated digital environment that manages the entire training journey—from registration through certification—including professional programs and diplomas, scientific forums, electronic examinations, digital certification and verification, attendance tracking, performance assessment, and comprehensive management for trainees, trainers, and institutional clients. The platform has been developed in line with the latest international standards in digital learning and professional development to ensure quality, efficiency, and an outstanding user experience.

Guided by its institutional vision, AWJ is committed to implementing the principles of good governance, transparency, independence, quality, professionalism, and institutional excellence across all its services and activities, while maintaining full alignment with internationally recognized professional and Sharia standards.

As part of its social responsibility initiatives, the company has also established the Al-Mahmoud Waqf for the Halal Economy and Business, a national endowment initiative dedicated to supporting university students, researchers, and young professionals, promoting the culture of educational endowment, and creating sustainable scientific and developmental impact within Palestinian society.

The company is led by its Founder and General Manager, Dr. Fadi Mahmoud Abu Diak, a specialist in Islamic Finance and an academic at Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie. Dr. Abu Diak combines extensive academic expertise with practical experience in the banking and financial sector and holds several professional positions in Sharia supervision, financial consultancy, Islamic financial arbitration, and professional training. He has also played an active role in developing Islamic financial products, strengthening institutional capacities, and building professional partnerships with leading local and international organizations.

Looking ahead, AWJ will progressively unveil a series of strategic initiatives, specialized programs, and innovative professional services as part of its vision to become The National Leading Integrated Hub for Halal Economy and Business, providing a modern professional ecosystem that combines knowledge, innovation, digital transformation, and institutional excellence, while contributing to the advancement of the Halal economy and business sector in Palestine and beyond.

A new chapter is about to begin... bringing with it a national vision, professional excellence, and a lasting impact.
