As part of its ongoing efforts to support and advance the Islamic financial and banking sector in Palestine, the General Manager of Ouj Financial Services, Consulting, and Arbitration Company, Dr. Fadi Abu Diak, paid an official visit to Safa Bank at its headquarters in Ramallah, where he met with the Bank's General Manager, Mr. Bayan Qassem.

During the visit, Dr. Fadi Abu Diak commended Safa Bank for its excellence in delivering Islamic banking services. He noted that Safa Bank is the newest Islamic bank established in Palestine and the country's third Islamic bank. He also praised the distinguished leadership of Mr. Bayan Qassem in managing this pioneering financial institution and highlighted the Bank's clear commitment to keeping pace with the latest developments in financial technology (FinTech).

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation in banking awareness initiatives, specialized training, and the promotion of Islamic financial literacy. The two sides also discussed developing the professional capabilities and competencies of Safa Bank employees through high-quality training programs offered by Ouj Company, ensuring continued excellence and adherence to the highest Shariah and professional standards across all banking operations.

Dr. Fadi Abu Diak emphasized that the meeting reflects Ouj Company's vision of embedding the concept of "Halal and Peace of Mind" within financial and banking institutions while enhancing the quality of Islamic banking services through the continuous development of human capital. He noted that cooperation with Safa Bank represents a significant step toward raising awareness of Islamic finance and banking and equipping employees with the latest best practices in the Islamic banking industry.

For his part, Mr. Bayan Qassem welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed Safa Bank's commitment to adopting the latest skills and technologies in delivering banking services to the public. He also stressed the importance of continuous professional development and training for the Bank's staff across various fields, expressing Safa Bank's readiness to collaborate with Ouj Company and benefit from its training and development programs, recognizing their direct impact on improving institutional performance and fostering innovation in the services provided to customers.

This visit forms part of a series of strategic engagements undertaken by Ouj Company with financial and banking institutions across Palestine in preparation for launching a comprehensive portfolio of advanced training and consulting programs aimed at strengthening the Islamic banking ecosystem and enhancing its contribution to the national economy. The initiative is also aligned with the vision and objectives of the Palestine Monetary Authority to promote Islamic banking, expand financial inclusion, and elevate financial and banking services in light of the rapid global advancements in financial technology.
